This program accelerates the learning process while keeping costs manageable. The objectives of the Bareboat/Cruising Course are to improve and enhance; Boat management of house systems (12 volt electrical and plumbing, galley, and engine) Navigation, destination planning Close maneuvering skills while under power and sail Docking, anchoring, and mooring departures and approaches Crew co-ordination Sail handling Navigation Rules, weather, tides and current issues All course materials are provided and conform to the US SAILING certification process. All testing and skills achievement certification are based on instructor observation and written testing. The course is conducted out of our Rock Hall location (www.HavenChartersBareboat.com) and is designed to accommodate only your crew (up to four people). This provides for maximum hands-on time with the instructor insuring greater skills retention while reducing the overcrowding that comes with large schools. Successful completion of this course provides the student(s) with A Haven Charters/North Bay Yacht Bareboat/Cruising certification. A Sailing Log with updated resume Discount on future charters (Inquire at www.HavenChartersBareboat.com) Enrollment in the Advanced Charter Captain's (ACC) program (Call for details) Caribbean Fleet Charter discount (call for details) This course is structured for three days (if a current basic sailing certification or equivalent sailing resume is held) or four days when combined with our Basic Keelboat Course.
